Changes in a Zhangjiagang chemical new materials customer after using Como for two months

At the end of November 2018, we installed a Como water treatment system in the cooling circulating water system pump room of a chemical new materials company in Zhangjiagang. The purpose was to replace chemicals and improve water quality: the system not only had localized scaling issues but also more widespread corrosion problems (the incoming water was slightly acidic)。

After using the chemical agent for just over a month, corrosion spots are already clearly visible on the hanging piece.

After a few days of installation and use, Party A confirmed that the turbidity in the circulating water tank could be judged by the naked eye. In mid-December, the chemical company completed the final test, and then, except for retaining a small amount of alkali (as the incoming water was slightly acidic), all other chemicals were stopped. In the final water quality test, it was found that the total iron had significantly increased: from around 1mg/l previously to over 4mg/l。This is the result of the rust being stripped away along with the scale during the Como signal descaling process. As the scale is completely removed, the total iron content will gradually decrease. This was confirmed in subsequent weekly water sample tests。

Summaries： From the four water quality tests, the corrosion problem of the system has been significantly suppressed. At the same time, it can be judged that a small amount of old scale has also been basically removed cleanly。
